Sarina Waste Transfer Station

The new Sarina Waste Transfer Station was constructed in 2013 at the existing site of the former Sarina landfill.

Costing over $2.4 million, the new state-of-the-art facility is of modern design featuring purpose built structures for the disposal and collection of green waste, steel, white goods and recycling.

The separation of waste into categories will allow the recovery of as many recyclables as possible, improving waste management within our region.
