Playground closed for maintenance

The Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens playground will be closed from Monday, September 2, until Wednesday, September 4, for maintenance works.

The sand in the playground area is being replaced and an exclusion zone will be set up around the playground while the work is completed.

Residents are advised that playgrounds such as Col Story Park on Ram Chandra Place or Northview Park on Schapers Road are great alternatives.

The Botanic Gardens apologises for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure.
