Residents asked to limit outdoor water use
Council is asking residents to conserve their outdoor water use for the next seven days.
From tomorrow (Friday, January 12), crews will begin emptying one of the clarification tanks at the Nebo Road Water Treatment Plant to identify if any maintenance is needed.
By carrying out regular maintenance and upgrade works. council can prolong the life of its infrastructure and avoid spending millions of dollars building new infrastructure.
Residents are asked to avoid filling up swimming pools, watering lawns or washing cars until after (Friday, January 19).
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates your cooperation during these essential works.
