Find yourself in a library this Library and Information Week. Create a short film or animation and bring a book to life on the screen. Learn: storyboarding and shotlisting, what you need to make a book trailer, how to adapt your chosen book into a trailer, and to source free images and music.

Volunteer Expo, stalls close May 18

The goal of the Expo is to match potential volunteers to roles that suit them, their time constraints and their talents. There will be hundreds of different roles on offer, and not just for retirees. There are exciting opportunities for young people looking to upskill themselves and build their resumes as well as stay-at-home mums and dads looking for a social activity during school hours. Council is currently accepting expressions of interest from volunteer groups looking to attract more members. There are both indoor stalls and outdoor sites available.
