2) Mackay Rugby - Fiji Drua vs Queensland Country and Grand Final

This is the biggest day for rugby union in Mackay for two decades, and it promises to be a fun-filled day for the whole family with jumping castles and face painting - as well as a full day of rugby. Starting at 9am with the U16 game, followed by Mackay Rugby Championship Plate Final and the Super Tots.Fiji plays Queensland Country at 1pm and the Grand Final takes place at 3.30pm. 4) 2018 Rock Paper Scissors Art & Design Market

5) Revolutions - Slade Point Mackay

A series of workshops suitable for younger attendees to gain confidence and skills in a team environment. They will be coached by the awesome Brenton who will teach vital skills for skating with social and team-building skills. Workshops are scheduled in every Monday from September until December, 4pm – 6pm. Workshops will be held at the Slade Point Skate Park and will move to the Sugar Bowl Skatepark from October 8.

6) Ministry of Fitness- Youth Fitness/Athletic Development

10-week program running Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays
Bluewater Quay, River Street, Mackay
Council and Mackay City Centre in partnership with Integrated Bodies have recently launched the Ministry of Fitness program. It complements the Jamie's Ministry of Food Australia mobile food kitchen, that is currently set up at the Bluewater Quay. The program will run for 10 weeks and will aim to teach the Mackay community about healthy living and an active lifestyle.

He pedalled his way around the planet and covered more than enough distance to circumnavigate the earth. His phenomenal journey was made possible thanks to the open-heart surgery which saved his life as a child. Jeremy is a recipient of the Australian Heart Foundation ‘Heart Hero Award’ and is an ambassador for Waterline Challenge.
