1) Coffee with a Cop

2) The Merger (Rated: M)

Come along and watch The Merger. Bodgy Creek is a struggling town where jobs are scarce after the mill was shut down, and the footy team looks like it will fold. Living a hermit-like existence on the town's fringe, former football star Troy Carrington is coaxed into rescuing the team and strikes up an unlikely friendship with young Neil who has lost his father. 3) MackHack Mining and METS Hackathon 2020

Dare to disrupt at MackHack 2020, a weekend-long event where participants come together to solve mining and METS industry challenges. 4) Gold Coast Suns V Geelong Cats

Friday, March 6, 5pm to 9pm

Come join all the AFL action at Harrup Park and The Great Barrier Reef Arena as the footy season starts to kick-off for Mackay's first ever official AFLW match. 5) JamFactory Icon Catherine Truman: No surface holds

Catherine Truman is one of South Australia’s most renowned artists and jewellers who works with a variety of diverse materials to create captivating and one-of-a-kind pieces. This JamFactory touring exhibition incorporates a mix of objects, installation, images, video and new works from her 20 years of research at the nexus of art and science. ‘Catherine Truman: No Surface Holds’ is the first time that Truman’s collaborative practice with artists and scientists is presented.

7) Bushfire Recovery - Building Nest Boxes

Come and join Conservation Volunteers Australia in Mackay to help assemble nest box for bushfire effected areas. In the aftermath of the recent bushfires across Australia, Conservation Volunteers has been entrusted as a one of the key organisations to assist in the recovery by coordinating and delivering immediate environmental recovery needs of bushfire affected areas. In many areas across the country we are still in an emergency phase, whilst other areas are only beginning to assess the losses caused by bushfire and plan for recovery.
