Local laws and policies
Under the Local Government Act, Mackay Regional Council has the authority to create and enforce local laws and council policies.
Local laws and council policies cover areas such as:
- Signage
- Food hygiene
- Footpath dining
- Building
- Keeping pets
- Permits and licences
