Mackay Regional Council Libraries:

Seek Discover Grow

Mackay Regional Council libraries hold a great range of fiction titles, from the classics to the latest bestsellers. We’ve also got some great other products to comfort the booklover in you!

Post your own book reviews
You can post reviews on our library catalogue to tell other library customers what you thought about the book you've just read. Whether you loved it or hated it, why not let other customers know your opinion. To post reviews you need a PIN and an alias set up on your library account. It's very quick and easy to do - just speak to one of our friendly staff today and they will be happy to do this for you.

Author websites and blogs
Find out more information about your favourite authors and their works by checking out our Delicious account. Simply browse through our list of over 100 authors to find the name of your favourite.

Book Club Sets
Libraries have sets of books specially designed to be borrowed for book clubs. Each set contains six copies of the same book so each member of your book club can have their own copy. Visit our online catalogue to see which titles are available. Book club sets may be borrowed on any membership card. Please enquire at your local branch for more information.

Online resources for booklovers
