Free online tutoring is now available from home for Mackay Regional Council Library members, using Tutoring Australasia's yourtutor service.

If you are looking for information outside of our library hours, remember that you can access a wealth of information online. Visit online resources to access a host of electronic products including databases.
Delicious
Delicious is a social bookmarking site that can be used to collate great links for leisure and study. Simply access Delicious and look for the subject tags that describe the type of information you're looking for and you'll see a list of websites that meet that description.
Exam Invigilation
The library can provide space and supervision for students sitting examinations through distance education. Conditions apply. Contact Gordon White Library or Mackay City Library for details.
Help is at hand

Online resources
We have access to a number of high-quality online resources containing information from encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers and scholarly journals for students of all ages and their teachers. Many of these can be accessed from any internet connected computer or device, however some can only be accessed in the Library.
Educator’s card
Teachers and other educators can apply for an educator’s library card, with extra borrowing rights. For more information, please contact us.
School visits and library tours
The library can conduct tours for visiting schools as requested. Reasonable notice is required for the library to host a school group. Use the online form to make a booking or enquiry regarding library tours.
