The vehicles detailed below have been impounded by Mackay Regional Council.

The owner or another person acting on the owner’s behalf, or any other person claiming a right to the possession of a vehicle should contact council’s Health & Regulatory Services on 1300 622 529 to organise for the release of the vehicle.  Failure to contact council within 30 days of impoundment will result in the vehicle being offered for sale by public auction.

The following impounded vehicles will be offered for sale by public auction unless the owner thereof or a person acting on the owners behalf, or a person claiming a right to possession thereof has sooner obtained possession of the vehicle. The next auction will be held on Tuesday, May 29. Public viewing will commence at 10:30am on the day of auction with the auction to start at 11:00am.

The auction will be conducted at Council’s Vehicle Impoundment Yard in Hume Street, Mackay. All vehicles will be sold unregistered in their current condition. Council offers no warranties and accepts no responsibility for the condition of the vehicles. Purchasers are to be aware that vehicles keys are generally not available.
