Public transportation

Council provides public transportation in two types for travelers and commuters.

The Mackay Explorer bus is a free service which runs every Sunday to key attactions while the Sarina Public Transport Scheme services areas from the Sarina beach communities to Mackay.

Mackay Transit Coaches handle all other bus transporation in Mackay and surrounding areas.
