Works for Queensland program
The Works for Queensland (W4Q) program is a Queensland Government funding program to support local governments outside of South East Queensland to undertake job-creating maintenance and minor infrastructure works.
This initiative is delivered by the Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning and funded under the State Infrastructure Fund.
In 2021 - 2024 Mackay Regional Council was allocated 9.99M for Works for Queensland Round 4, the included projects are new and upgrades to existing facilities and infrastructure across the whole council region.
