Tree removals at Pioneer Pool

Published: 25 Oct 2019

Council will be removing two trees from Pioneer Swim Centre on Tuesday, October 29.

The trees being removed are pest species, and include one African Tulip tree, which is toxic to native bees.

The African Tulip tree is located near the disabled car park at the swim centre. The other tree being removed is a Lilly Pilly tree, which is blocking car park lighting on Glenpark Street.

Pedestrians are advised that the footpath on Glenpark Street will be closed for the tree removal and to seek an alternative route.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused to residents by this work.
