Take the time to complete COVID-19 contact tracing requirements

Published: 21 Dec 2020

Business owners, residents and visitors are being urged to not become complacent and continue doing their part to keep the community safe.

As people start to relax for the holiday season, it’s important that we don’t stop completing contract tracing details while out and about.

If you are visiting venues such as restaurants, cafes, and bars, make sure you take the time to complete online contact tracing information.

Queensland venues must now have QR codes or electronic devices to record patrons’ attendance. Manual registers are no longer acceptable.

This information must include name, phone number, email address, and the date and time period of patronage

This allows contact tracers to identify all close contacts of a confirmed case as quickly as possible to help protect the wider community.

If you begin to feel unwell, please get tested at your nearest testing centre and self-isolate.
