Rural culvert replacement works about to begin

The existing culverts are showing signs of deterioration and require immediate replacement.

Full road closures are necessary to replace the existing culverts as they span the full width of the road.

Crews will be working in both areas Monday to Friday, between 6am and 6pm with some noise and dust disturbances expected.

Munbura Road culvert site is located at the southern end, about two kilometres from Sarina Homebush Road.

Works are expected to commence on Monday, March 1, for six weeks, weather permitting.

Tedfords Road culvert site is located just before the intersection of Victoria Plains Road and Tedfords Road.

Works are expected to commence on Monday, March 8, for 10 weeks, weather permitting.

Detours will be in place, and motorists are asked to please follow all signage and directions given by the crews.
