Along with the various school holiday activities, there are also plenty of other events on this week. Try the 5 is back for 2021, launching Monday, September 27, with five weeks of different sports to help motivate you to get moving. Clean out your old clothes that no longer spark joy and bring them to the Clothes Swap event at the library and come along to Artspace Mackay to enjoy a casual conversation about art.

1) Rumble on the Reef

6) Queensland Rugby Union Junior Girls Sevens State Championships

Games held from 9am onwards, both days
BB Print Stadium 
The State Championships will cater for U15 and U17 age groups, and will see 16 teams from across Queensland converge on the region during the school holiday period, in what will be a boost for Rugby in the region. More information here: https://bit.ly/3hMYH6r

7) Weekend Inflatable Fun

Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26, from 10am to 4pm
Mackay Aquatic Recreation Complex
Come along to the Mackay ARC for some inflatable fun! There will be a giant crocodile in the 50-metre pool along with individual floaties available for use. 11) Lagoons Gallery Exhibition ‘Alchemy’ by Felicity Chapman

The latest exhibition is now on show at the Lagoons Gallery within the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens café. Take a look at ‘Alchemy’ by Felicity Chapman and other beautiful artwork on display at the gallery. Enjoy food and drink overlooking the gardens while there. The café is open Tuesday to Sunday.
