Two regional swim centres reopen for school holidays

Sarina Swim Centre will reopen on Monday, September 13, and Mirani Swim Centre will reopen on Saturday, September 18, after closing for the winter maintenance period.

Pioneer Swim Centre and Memorial Swim Centre are also open to the public.

Residents are reminded that council is currently offering free entry to the Mackay Aquatic Recreation Complex at Ooralea on weekends.

The facility provides inflatable fun on Saturdays and Sundays, so it is an excellent opportunity to enjoy some quality time with the family while embracing the warmer weather.

Council is continuing to investigate serious structural issues at Bluewater Lagoon, and it will remain closed until further notice.
