Water main renewal works scheduled for Bedford Road

Council will be decommissioning the existing water main and replacing it with a larger main on Bedford Road between Andergrove Road and Glenpark Street.

This will result in a reduced risk of failure and increased water supply for the local network.

Contractor Roebuck Civil will be completing the works on behalf of council with crews working in the area until late October.

Residents and motorists are asked to please follow all instruction and signage.

Water interruptions will occur during the project at various stages, however residents will be provided with advanced notice prior to interruptions taking place.
