Aged water main replacement works in Marian

The replacement works commence today (Monday, February 15) with work being carried out Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 5.30pm.

Some weekend and night works will be conducted, when necessary.

The night works are expected to occur over a total of four nights and will require water interruptions between the hours of 10pm and 3am.

However, council will provide those directly affected with 72-hours’ notice prior to any night work commencing.

Care has been taken to keep as many of the existing trees as possible.

Some trees will be required to be removed as part of this work with replacement trees to be planted in Anzac Avenue.

Traffic control will be in place during this project, residents are asked to please follow all signage in the area.
