Ball Bay Road reconstruction

Published: 04 Jun 2020

Council has started works on the Ball Bay Road reconstruction project.

As part of the project, the road will be widened and sealed with an improved drainage component.

Works are being undertaken between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday and are expected to be completed by the end of November, weather permitting.

To allow for the road widening, there will be minimal tree and vegetation removal necessary along Ball Bay Road.

Motorists are asked to obey the instructions of all safety signage and on-duty traffic controllers. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this work.

This project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through the Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS) and Mackay Regional Council.
