Council celebrating Day of People with Disability

Council is hosting an exciting new expo and supporting a collaborative exhibition to celebrate the International Day of People with Disability (December 3).

The Disability Expo, which promises “everything disability under one roof”, will be held at the Gordon White Library.

The expo, which will bring together a range of disability service providers on Tuesday, December 3, will run from 9am to 11.30am.

Entry is free and a there is still space for additional exhibitors.

Council is also supporting the Colourful Us collaborative exhibition in the Jubilee Community Centre from December 2 to January 15.

The exhibition celebrates people with disability and features works by ARTSynergy, The Creativity Window, Art from the Blindside and Deadly Weavers.

An official opening will be held on Friday, December 13, at 6pm and will be hosted by Brenden Borellini and Alison Richardson from Crossroad Arts.

The opening is an Auslan-interpreted event. All are welcome. No RSVP required.
