Council’s waste facilities will also only close for Christmas Day, except for Paget Waste Management Centre, which will be open for limited hours on Christmas Day from 6.15am to noon.

Waste collection services will continue to run routine pick-ups during the Christmas holiday period. Residents are reminded to leave their wheelie bins out as normal.

Council’s last ordinary council meeting for 2021 will be held on Wednesday, December 8.

Council meetings will resume in 2022 on Thursday, January 27, noting that the Wednesday, January 26, is Australia Day and council operations will be closed for the public holiday.

From February onwards, ordinary meetings will then return to their normal schedule of the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
