The box office will be open for Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show on Friday, April 2, between 8.30am and 10am and 4.30pm and 6pm, as well as Saturday, April 3, between 8.30am and 10am.

Mackay Regional Council Libraries

Closed Friday, April 2, reopening Tuesday, April 6.

Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens

The Botanic Gardens Visitor Information Centre, Tropical Shade Garden and Fernery will be closed Friday, April 2, to Monday, April 5, inclusive and will reopen as normal on Tuesday, April 6, at 9am.

The Botanic Gardens Café and Lagoons Gallery will be closed from Monday, March 29, to Wednesday, April 7, inclusive. The café will reopen as normal on Thursday, April 8, at 9am.

Orchid House and Queens Park

Closed Friday, April 2, to Monday, April 5, inclusive. The Orchid House will reopen as normal on Tuesday, April 6.
Queens Park will be accessible over the Easter weekend.

Waste services

Bin collections will continue as per normal over the Easter break. Council’s waste facilities will be open as per their normal operating hours, except the Incredable Ltd Resource Recovery drop-off facility and Tip Shop, which will be closed on Friday, April 2.
