Leisure Street traffic island installation

The new island will prevent traffic from Leisure Street turning right onto Bridge Road and will reduce traffic congestion.

Work will commence Monday, April 20, and is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting.

The work will be undertaken between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday.

Motorists are asked to obey the instructions of all safety signage and on-duty traffic controllers.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this work.
