Libraries launch lightning author talks

Published: 05 Mar 2020

Mackay Regional Council Libraries are connecting authors with readers in a series of lightning meet and greets coming to local branches.

The first of these Lightning Author Talks will feature three exciting authors at Dudley Denny City Library on Tuesday, March 10.

From 10am to noon Debbie Brooker, K.L Kristie and David Conway will share their journey to become published authors while introducing readers to their latest books.

You can ask questions, purchase books and, of course, get them signed.

Debbie Brooker will speak about her second children’s picture book Too Many Words.

K.L Kristie will introduce readers to Elysium, an adult fantasy fiction book from her Rhydemption series.

And David Conway will talk about his inspirational, non-fiction book Early Morning Inspirations.

This talk is free to attend, but Libraries are asking participants to register their interest via Eventbrite or by calling their local library branch.
