Lights installed at busy intersection

The lights will improve safety at the Goldsmith Street intersection, which has been identified under the Black Spot Funding scheme.

Work will begin late March/early April and will be carried out from Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm, with some Saturday work.

Some road closures and detours will be in place. Motorists are asked to obey all signage and the instructions of traffic controllers.

The project will take six weeks to complete, weather permitting.

The bus stop on Bridge Road will be temporarily relocated to 50 Bridge Road. Signage will be installed to notify users.

This $446,000 project has been fully funded by the Australian Government.
