Platypus Beach closed for bridge maintenance

Mackay Sugar is carrying out bridge maintenance, weather permitting, and the beach will be closed for safety reasons.

Platypus Beach will remain open on weekends for leisure and recreation.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
