Tree removal will affect traffic flow Norris Road

Motorist are asked to avoid Norris Road, where possible, this Saturday, May 25.

Arborists will be removing a large gum tree and several smaller trees from the crest of the hill behind 44 Norris Road, opposite Annie Wood Park, weather permitting.

The large gum has a significant structural flaw in the junction of the two main trunks and poses a safety hazard.

As a result, the tree must be removed for the safety of surrounding residents, the general public and students who use the footpath.

Traffic control will be in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area wherever possible on Saturday, May 25, as lengthy delays are expected during the removal process.
