Tree to be removed at Marian

The tree, which is located near Edward Lloyd Park on Anzac Avenue, has severe rot in the base due to bracket fungi.

It also has a large crack at the base, between two trunks.

The tree is structurally unsound, posing a safety hazard to the public, and will be removed in the next few weeks, weather permitting.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this necessary removal.
