Street signs named after WWI and WWII war casualties
The then Mackay City Council asked members of the public to submit names of family members who were casualties of war and whose records showed they were born in Mackay, enlisted in Mackay, or whose parents and/or themselves lived in Mackay (and district) at that time. The streets in Mackay below were named after them.
