The Heritage Awards, first celebrated in 2004, are a biennial event dedicated to paying tribute to those individuals and organisations that make an outstanding effort to keep our region's heritage alive. Given the significance of 2015 which marked the centenary of the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli and the Greenmount Homestead's 100-year celebrations, the Heritage Awards were extended to be held in 2015 in an out of sequence year. Now, in February 2020 the biennial event is on again!
The Heritage Awards are open for nominations from Monday, November 18, 2019 and close at 5pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. The entries will be judged and winners announced in the Jubilee Community Centre in February 2020.
