Using This Time Wisely - Industry Skills Development Program
The purpose of the program is to help increase event delivery capacity, resilience and event sustainability. All webinars will be recorded, so if you can’t attend the live session you will have access to view that at a later time that suits.
We strongly encourage your key committee members to view the webinars and/or watch it as a team – the more event committee members watching it, the better.
The webinar series and mentoring sessions will be run by Krista Hauritz from Krista Hauritz Tourism and Marketing Consulting and Stu Speirs from Silver lining Strategy.
About the presenters
Krista Hauritz - With a love of travel and celebrations, and a genuine curiosity for people and places, it’s no wonder Krista has lived, worked and breathed regional tourism and events for over twenty five years. Now she will be assisting our region manage and take our events into the future at this challenging time.
Stu Speirs - Stu is a strategist who for over a decade has developed some of Australia’s best known events. His company Silver Lining take a place based approach to develop and grow events that are sustainable, aligned with your goals and honour the values of your community.

The Event Health Check survey is designed to reflect the underlying health of your event, and assist series mentors, Krista Hauritz and Stu Speirs, to better understand the challenges and growth areas of individual and collective Mackay region event organisers.
The survey will be distributed to all recipients of this email on Tuesday, May 12. If you can please complete the survey by Friday, May 22.
