The best spot to enjoy locally handmade arts and crafts

Sarina Arts and Craft Centre

Sarina Arts and Craft Centre

The Sarina Arts and Crafts Centre is housed in the Historical Sarina Courthouse within the parklands. Built in 1901, this building has a proud heritage of serving the Sarina community – first as the courthouse, then as a school hall and classroom and finally as the Arts and Crafts Centre.

Since 1995, the building has formed the centrepiece of our precinct, which includes the Historical Sarina Watch House built in 1901. Mount Pelion State School, built in 1926, was the final historical building to come to the complex and, after being fully restored, was transformed into the administration office and function room.

The Sarina Arts and Crafts Centre is run by our passionate advocates who volunteer their time to present and guide visitors through a wide range of beautiful handmade arts and crafts, all created locally. Volunteers welcome all visitors and adhere to COVID guidelines.

Please pop in to say ‘hi’ and have a look around at the fabulous range of local art and craft.

The centre is open every day from 9am to 1pm, excluding public holidays.
