Seaforth
Seaforth a relaxing beach-side community ideal for fishing and the local camping ground is popular with holiday makers. Seaforth provides essential retail and community services, such as the Seaforth Community Hall. It's a quiet place with a close-knit community of approximately 500 residents.
Seaforth is a leisurely 45 minutes drive north of Mackay. Once there you will find camping facilities and well maintained parks and recreation reserves.
A number of the small vacation homes have been replaced with larger, more modern dwellings but you still get the distinct feeling that those who live here prefer to remain in holiday-mode. Fortunately, as the bay is long and gently curved, there's no need to crowd your neighbours to get great views.
