Thank you for your interest in joining Mackay Regional Council Libraries.

Library membership is freely available to permanent residents of the Mackay region.  To join the library, simply visit your local branch or join online.

Proof of current residential address is required and acceptance of the terms and conditions of membership.

Acceptable proof of residential address include:

• Driver’s License
• Rates Notice
• Pension Card
• Electricity Bill
• Phone Bill
• Rent receipt
• Letter from  employer (where the employer pays the accommodation costs)
• Payslip (with address details)

Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when joining the library.

There is no age limit for new members – Anyone can join and enjoy our libraries!
