Most service provision, like most economic activity, consumes natural resources with little or no recognition of their value or mind to their  replacement. Offices, shops and call centres all consume power, resources, and  human capital and can often be reorganised to function in a more sustainable manner. As with goods, it falls to the consumer to exercise environmentally conscious consumption to drive service  organisations to contemplate and address their inherent responsibility for environmental sustainability.


The relationships, conversations and experiences we have when receiving services  can have a huge impact on our wellbeing (for example, aged care services).
