From the 28th of May – the 4th of June there will be a variety of artist run workshops and open-studio sessions available at the Cricket Shed in Queens Park.
Supported by Mackay Regional Council as part of the Mackay Waterfront Make Your Place Grants.
In this workshop you'll deconstruct, reconstruct and rejuvenate your 'bling' into new forms and functions. Melissa will provide inspiration, visual design ideas and bits and bobs to aid in your creations.
Wire, pliers, beads, fastenings, and a small collection of pre- loved bling will be provided. This is NOT a traditional beading/jewellery workshop; It's a contemporary ART workshop. Gather up all the jewellery you no longer wear ( precious /semi-precious ) and create!
