Community grants

Mackay Regional Council is proud to support the community with a variety of grant and funding opportunities.

Grant funds were provided to sporting, arts, service, and environmental groups and individuals.

Additional grants

Graffiti Removal Grant

This grant provides businesses and organisations a means of supporting the removal of graffiti from non-council owned facilities that have an impact on the community.

Funding is available each year. Check for availability and apply.

Performance Achievement Grant

The Performance Achievement Grant is designed to provide financial assistance for a range of expenses associated with participating in State, National and International Sporting, Arts and Culture, or STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) competitions and events.

This grant will support individuals and teams by covering costs including team levies, registration fees, uniforms, travel expenses, and other related expenditures that are incurred outside the boundaries of Mackay, Whitsunday, and Isaac Regional Council areas.
