The code of conduct prescribes the appropriate behaviour for all officers and employees of Mackay Regional Council.

Mackay Regional Council's preferred sponsorship option for international candidates is a Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457). This visa allows international employees to work within Australia for four years.

Online Safety Induction (for External Personnel)

As part of council’s safety management plan, an online safety induction needs to be completed before contractors, volunteers or work experience students attend a council site or facility.

Once the induction has been successfully completed, a certificate of completion will be issued. This can be printed, saved or photographed to show the relevant council supervisor as evidence of completion.
