It's show time for council - June 17-19, 2026

#Discovermackay at the Mackay Show!

Council will be at the Mackay Show again this year, from June 17-19 in the 500 Pavilion.

The display will have heaps of competitions and prizes on offer, including $500+ in Sarina Sugar Shed hampers and vouchers! To enter the main competition, visit the council display during the council display hours and fill in an entry form.

Back by popular demand, Sarina Sugar Shed will be the centrepiece of our display and will have a range of delicious, free tasters on offer.

There will also be a FREE photo booth, which is always popular with families, plus free water bottles and chilled-water refills from the Water Services team. A range of other council areas will also be on display with interactive activities and stalls, not to mention a small number of local artisans selling their artistic creations.

Ranger Ros will also make an appearance during the peak times of the Show, with her furry creatures (puppets).

Council pavilion opening hours:

• Tuesday, June 17, 2pm to 8pm
• Wednesday, June 18, 10.30am to 8pm
• Thursday, June 19, 9am to 4pm
