Mackay Regional Council has advised that residents in Sarina Beach, Grasstree Beach and Campwin Beach will experience an interruption to their water supply on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

The interruption is expected from 9am to 3pm, weather permitting, and is due to essential works to replace a damaged water main valve.

Residents are encouraged to store extra water in their homes before works begin so there is water on hand for drinking, washing hands and flushing toilets during the day.

Traffic control will also be in place on Zelma Street near Mount Haden Reservoir Road in Grasstree Beach to complete the works.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the community’s understanding during these essential works
