Slade-Point-Reserve-2.jpg

Slade Point Nature Reserve is one of the last remaining areas of coastal dunes and paperbark wetlands in the Mackay region. There is an off-road 3.1km reserve bushwalk circuit, suitable for children. Here you will walk through Moreton Bay ash forest, weeping paperbarks and grasslands. There is a shelter, bubbler and seating. Access is via the southern end of Lambert's Beach, at the end of Pacific Esplanade, Slade Point.
