Everything you need to know for Wisely Wine and Food Day 2026
Published on 13 July 2026
Wisely Wine and Food Day 2026 will be a delight for all the senses with mouthwatering food, refreshing beverages and of course an epic line up of music
The much anticipated Wisely Wine and Food Day is on at Queens Park this Saturday, July 18.
Mackay Mayor Greg Williamson said the day would feature all the regular favourites of this drawcard event, as well as some new and exciting experiences.
“There’s a huge array of delicious food on offer, multiple bars offering a wide variety of craft beers, wines and ciders and fun for the kids at a family fun zone,” Mayor Williamson said.
“The whole festival area will again be fenced and licenced so people can sit anywhere to enjoy the entertainment while sipping on their refreshment of choice,” he said.
Mayor Williamson said the music was the other big drawcard for festivalgoers.
“We’ve got seven top quality bands and performers on the BB Print Main Stage from 10.30am, with our headliner Budjerah kicking off at 4.40pm to end the day on a high,” Mayor Williamson said.
“Budjerah is one of the most exciting new voices in Australia and it is fantastic to have him as our main act,” he said.
“Budgerah has won two ARIA awards and has over 50 million streams including his platinum single Therapy.
“He will be a fantastic finale to what is set to be another great Wisely Wine and Food Day.”
Mayor Williamson said there were plenty of other exciting acts to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
“The main stage will feature local and out-of-town bands to keep the entertainment rolling, including Bermuda Social, The Short Fall, Geed Up Band, Viva Band and Jessica Cash,” Mayor Williamson said.
“And of course the Dance Stage will feature all the amazing talent of our local dance groups,” he said.
There will again be artisan markets, exciting paint and sip experiences, a live art challenge where artists will create works onsite in response to their surroundings, and Mack Popcon interactive cosplay photo opportunities throughout the day.
