Free dumping of green waste is available to residents cleaning up after Tropical Cyclone Koji.
Residents can dump domestic green waste for free at all facilities, except Koumala. The extension of the free dumping has been made possible following an official Disaster Declaration.
Council has extended the opening hours of the facilities at Gargett and Sarina, which will be open from 10am - 5pm from today through to Friday.
The free dumping is only available to residents for domestic green waste. Normal charges apply for commercial dumping.
These arrangements will remain in place until close of business on Sunday.
