New fitness equipment and connecting paths are just some of the exciting renewal works coming to the Grasstree Beach Esplanade Park.
Work has started on the construction of a new playground shelter, pathways to the playground, carpark and amenities block as well as the planting of additional shade trees.
The work is expected to be completed by mid-December, weather permitting.
During the works, being done by contractor BH Building Pty Ltd, the playground, picnic shelter and part of the carpark will be closed for the duration of the project.
However the community will still have access to the basketball half court, amenities block and nearby beach access.
Anyone wanting to access a playground during the works should visit our Parks page or Area Map to find an alternative venue.
