Trailhead

At the heart of the precinct, the Finch Hatton MTB trailhead offers convenient visitor amenities alongside a pump track for skill-building and warm-ups.

The trailhead is where you start and finish your mountain bike adventure. The site is packed with features that you would expect from a world-class facility, and it’s located in the Finch Hatton town centre which means there are shops and food options nearby.

Cattle Creek Administration Building

The Cattle Creek Administration Building, located next to the trailhead, was originally constructed between 1957 and 1959 by dedicated mill workers and beautifully restored in 2021 to preserve its rich history and character. Influenced by Italian design elements thanks to staff member Charles Azzolini, the building features timber trusses supplied by Charles Porter & Sons and deco-style steel-framed windows, many of which remain in excellent condition today.

Availble to hire through council, this historic venue offers a range of functional spaces suitable for meetings, workshops, and community events:

Board Room – Approx. 7m x 11m
Reception Area – Approx. 7m x 6.5m
Two Office Spaces – Each approx. 4m x 7m
Kitchenette – Approx. 4m x 4.5m

Power is available throughout the building, supporting a wide range of uses.
