Lamberts Beach Lookout Park

Overlooking Lamberts Beach, Slade Point and nearby islands, Lamberts Lookout offers the perfect platform to take in our amazing region. It is also the perfect place to spot the migrating whales as they breach and play off the coast of Mackay.

This stunning location is also one of the few places in Mackay you can watch both a sunrise and a sunset,and is a popular location for wedding photography.

Facilities located at the lookout include; parking, binoculars, shady areas, picnic tables. Play equipment and barbecues are all available at Ram Chandra Park beside Lamberts Beach.

Lamberts Beach, Lamberts Lookout and Ram Chandra Park can all be found on Pacific Esplanade, Slade Point.

A large, grassed area exists near Lamberts Beach Lookout and is available to hire from council for private events and wedding ceremonies.

The Lamberts Beach Lookout is available for hire through council for events and wedding ceremonies. Please use the link in the "Information and bookings" panel.

Please note:

There are no public amenities and vehicle access to area through a gate is available for bridal cars only.

At the northern end of Ram Chandra Park there is off-street car parking and access to the beach via the boardwalk. The southern end provides public amenities, access to the beach and street parking.

Site locations:

• Wedding Site 1 - Under the trees at Lamberts Beach Lookout where the natural combination of the rocks and ocean present a beautiful vista.
• Wedding Site 2 - Walk up the slope at Lamberts Beach Lookout to the top of the grassy knoll with views of the ocean and islands in the distance.
