Council is inviting residents and local businesses to provide feedback on the draft Water Customer Service Standards 2026.

These standards outline the levels of service residents can expect across key areas, including water supply reliability, water quality, response times and the way council manages customer interactions.

Community input is essential to ensuring these standards continue to reflect the expectations and needs of our growing region. Council undertakes this consultation every five years as part of its regulatory obligations.

Residents are encouraged to review the draft Water Customer Service Standards and share their feedback at www.connectingmackay.com.au/mackay-water-services-customer-service-standards-2026

The document is also available to view at council’s customer service centres and you can submit written feedback at council’s customer service centres or via council’s postal box (PO BOX 41, Mackay, QLD, 4740).

The feedback survey will close at 11.59pm on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
