Planning Scheme Policy Minor Amendment 1

On September 25, 2024, Council resolved to adopt Planning scheme policy minor amendment 1. This amendment commenced as version 1.2 of PSP - Landscape on November 1, 2024.

The purpose and general effect of the planning scheme policy minor amendment 1 is to amend PSP – Landscape to align with the tree planting objectives of Mackay Regional Council’s adopted Mackay Urban Greening Strategy to achieve practical and functional tree siting and shading (canopy cover) outcomes along footpaths and pathways.
