John Breen Park & Centenary Place

This centrally-located park is perfect for families and fitness fanatics alike. Boasting a range of exercise equipment, being close to the Pioneer Swim Centre, a skatebowl, roller hockey training facility and cricket pitch, there’s plenty of ways to stay fit. For the children, there is a partially enclosed, shaded playground, catering for ages 1 to 12, with both sand and softfall. The park is now home to Mackay's first disc golf course! The new nine-hole course is suited to both first-timers and seasoned players. The sport is easy to learn, fun to play and a great way to enjoy the outdoors.
